All right. Obligatory you do not have to agree with me. I’m not judging anyone who DOES feel strongly about being addressed by the “Dr.” title. This is about me and how I feel. I don’t mind being called Dr. Obuobi (by the way, pronounced Oh-bow-bee), but most of the time I go by my first name. This is how I feel most comfortable.
An aside - I am NOT comfortable when patients in a clinical setting insist on calling me by my first name if I haven’t invited them to- hence last week’s comic!
