Starting with A for AMA. It could also be A for abscond. Of your patients who can ambulate, they’re the sickest. You’re actually surprised they made it to the hospital. You keep it straight with them that there’s a real possibility they could die but they don’t care bc they have bills to pay/ an event to get to/ aren’t getting enough respect around here/ childcare/ we’re lying to them.
